INSPIRATIONS
This transmutation of the photographed image to acrylic gives space to works where the technique takes a predominant place. Often the same image will be the premise of several paintings that may include animals, or characters encountered traveling from the end of the world. The manipulation of the material, the addition of acrylic to existing forms, gives rise to intriguing works.
Emerging Forms
Characters and animals emerge. Some are reminiscent of the characters in the “Danse de Matisse”, except that they do not reveal themselves as strongly, preferring to remain hidden in the work. Buried between two layers of acrylic and strokes of color, more perceived than defined, these characters are born and transformed at the whim of the imagination of the individual.
